Statement from the University of Central Lancashire
“The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is working alongside the Society for Promoting Chiropractic Education (SPCE) to develop a new Integrated Chiropractic Masters degree programme.
At this stage, the proposed programme is in development and subject to regulatory permissions including full course validation by UCLan. To be delivered by UCLan’s Faculty of Health and Well Being, we hope to launch in 2021”.
UCLan enjoys an excellent reputation in the field of musculoskeletal health, boasting first-rate training and research facilities. The Centre for World University Rankings rated Central Lancashire to be in the top 3.7 % of all worldwide universities.
Satjit Singh, Chief Executive of SPCE added: “ We are delighted that UCLan is developing a new chiropractic programme. It will be of immense benefit to students, especially in the North-West, as well as help improve access to chiropractic care in the area. Students will enjoy a wonderful all-round experience, benefitting from UCLan’s excellent campus and teaching facilities. We look forward to supporting UCLan in developing the programme, which will meet the aspirations of the patients, profession and students”.
